With Volver, he gifts us a masterpiece, gathering his fetish actresses into a dramatic plot revolving around themes of incest, maternal love and of that feminine bond that unites women all. Volver is an ode to women, a reverence to their strength and their feelings. It is a tale screened with simplicity, with love, with passion, in a way that only Almodovar can.
Volver is a movie that cannot be reviewed for words would fail to reveal the true essence of it, for it undoubtedly is a ‘must-see’ movie. Bravo Pedro!
