Heroes has been outstanding, all the way through! Undeniably one of the best TV series these days, Heroes has mesmerised its audience with a brilliant plot, mastery of the art of suspense and climax and a genuinely new and innovative storyline , i.e. no feeling of ‘deja vu’ here. Each character, gifted with an ability by the process of evolution, gets entangled in a series of events that will, in time, unveil the true purpose of their nature: saving the world. More than the mere “good v\s bad” that makes up the baseline of most stories, Heroes gathers its strength from its powerful set of characters, to which viewers will readily choose one which they ressemble the most.
Heroes is followed in my TV-serial hitlist by:
- Prison Break (season 1 is unbeatable, S2 has been over-stretched)
- Lost (S1 & S2 were fine. S3’s start was bleak but they caught up with themselves in the last eps.)
- That 70’s Show (hehe, by far the best comedy show)
- (and soon) Jericho
… in order of preference. Many around me have been going gaga over Smallville, but the story of Superman and his kins fails to attract me in any way.. Maybe i’ll give it a shot when i got free time and nothin to do… (which might be soon
)
